Our revolutionary steam engine
for conversion of thermal to electric energy.
Our custom-made solution for environmentally friendly energy supply
In 2008 our technicians started developing a steam generating plant (which is heated with a grate burner) and a relaxing steam engine which provides green power to the net over a generator. In our innovative development we use RRM (renewable raw materials) for the steam generation with the use of optimized combustion technology. Our CHP-plant can be used in a modular construction system from 150 kW up to 1,5 MW thermal power and delivers from 30 up to 300 kW electrical power.
Description of the technology:
The system ("Green Steam & Neumot") consists
of an external combustion unit, its waste heat
is used for steam generation. This specially
developed world protected natural circulation
steam boilers (boilers with a defined water level,
TÜV approved and certified) has a maximum water
volume of 9.9 liters at a pressure ≤ 32 bar and
meets the criteria of Class 1 boiler and boiler
AUT class III D (low hazard potential).
By multistage overheating at 380 °C using a
steam jet compressor is a given optimum steam
quality at the steam engine subsequently installed.
The steam expansion engine operates according to
the displacement as a linear drive. The steam
engine is fully enclosed, the power transmission
is by means of a Crank drive completed.
The generation of electrical energy is done by
an asynchronous generator. The 150 kW CHP generates
up to 30 kW of electrical power and 110 kW (10 kW
radiation and exhaust losses) thermal energy that
(about 80 ° C) can be used for various inserts such
as for Feeding into district heating systems,
drying equipment or other heat consumers up to
cooling plant operators can be used.
- CO2-neutral combustion
- Reduction of energy imports
- Minimization of wood chips transport routes and utilization of local resources
- Minimization of electricity and heat transmissions because of local use
The use of biomass for energy promotes the independence from fossil fuels and leads to a C O2-neutral combustion balance. Heating plants have the general disadvantage that it is very in summer is expensive, to a large boiler for a very small amount (base load) heat required to operate. By installing a small system the excess heat can be also used in the summer for the required base load. The power (green power) thereof is delivered throughout the year.
- small plants possible ( > 150 kW)
- fast payback period (5 years)
- possibility of firing with various fuels
Through the efficient and cost effective possibilities of central energy production in small power plants, the new technology „Neumot” can be used in many private, public and business locations. As it is operational from 150kW, commercial and agriculture businesses up to district heating plant providers could make use of this technology.
For all fuels with high water content (horse manure, chicken manure, wood chippings with 60% humidity …) we use our counterflow burner.
Suitable fuels
- Fresh horse manure with max. 50% water content
- Poultry manure
- Wood chippings with 60% water content
- Various mixtures of organic waste
(max. 40% water content depending on the fuel)
- Burning of horse manure with 45% water content
- Fuel capacity, wet: 132kg/h
- Anticipated electrical output per year:
480MWh (based on 8.000 working hours per year)
